Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Backend Developer with experience in Node.js and TypeScript to join our growing team. As a Mid-Level Backend Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems, working closely with a collaborative team to deliver efficient and scalable solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Participate in the design and implementation of backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.
  2. Contribute to the development of server-side logic and APIs.
  3. Database Interaction:
    1. Assist in designing and maintaining databases, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
    2. Collaborate with team members to implement efficient database queries.
  4. API Development:
    1. Develop and maintain APIs, ensuring compatibility with frontend components and external services.
    2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration.
  5. Code Quality and Collaboration:
    1. Write clean, maintainable code and adhere to coding standards.
    2. Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to deliver cohesive solutions.
  6. Architecture Understanding:
    1. Gain an understanding of backend architecture and contribute ideas for improvements.
    2. Follow best practices for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  7. Learning and Growth:
    1. Continuously learn and stay updated on new technologies and best practices.
    2. Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Backend Developer with exposure to Node.js and TypeScript.
  3. Familiarity with server-side development and asynchronous programming.
  4. Understanding of database concepts and experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
  5. Basic knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
  6. Proficiency in code versioning tools (e.g., Git).
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  2. Interest in containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  3. Familiarity with GraphQL.
  4. Problem-solving and analytical skills.
