The Regional Continuous Improvement Manager will develop, promote, and support the execution of the continuous improvement program in laboratories across Brazil and Latin American countries, leading the implementation of the LIFE program, the corporate Lean Manufacturing program launched by the group, within RX laboratories. This professional can be based in Mexico, Colombia or Peru.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and implement benchmarking practices across Latin America and globally to promote best practices already in place elsewhere that bring benefits or positive impacts to relevant KPIs in laboratories, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Maintenance.
  2. Develop and foster a culture of continuous improvement in laboratories within the designated work scope, positively impacting key indicators for cost, productivity, cycle times, and service levels in our operations.
  3. Participate, coordinate, and present to the global continuous improvement organization the progress of strategies approved for implementation in laboratories within the scope, as well as relay new guidelines to laboratory CI teams.
  4. Lead specific improvement workshops at the laboratory level that bring changes and/or improvements to lab KPIs.
  5. Lead the standardization of layouts, workflows, operational procedures, and workstations within the laboratory organization, aligned with the Rx Reference Framework. Work closely with STL technical teams in Latin America to align these elements with process technical requirements.
  6. Coordinate, on a dotted-line basis, the Continuous Improvement representatives in laboratories within the work scope to promote the deployment of improvements.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Production Engineering or equivalent;
  2. Advanced to fluent English and Spanish;
  3. Solid experience leading activities and managing teams focused on Continuous Improvement, with technical and practical experience in project management;
  4. Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing projects, productivity indicator analysis, focusing on scrap/rework reduction, productivity improvement, labor balancing for cells/production lines, defining Cycle Time, macro & micro layout for production processes, and material flow & handling.

Skills:

  1. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  2. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously;
  3. Willingness to travel throughout the Latin America region.
