Job Description
Marketing Aftermarket is the organization responsible for supporting wholesales dealer network (Mexico & GMCC channel) with sales tools, technician training and development of promotions. In addition, this organization is responsible for helping to identify product quality concerns. This role is responsible for ensuring continuous improvement, work across multiple teams (Sales, Finance, Product Development, Advertising). You will be an integral resource for increasing the ACDelco market share. In this role, you will manage internal training partners to build a strategy training for our wholesales dealer network.
- Identifies market trend/opportunities and consumer requirements.
- Maintain contact with sales team to assist them with conducting product training for wholesales dealers and their clients; prepare training material. Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities.
- To build the business case, launch and track the promotions. To design Dealer Bulletin and Customer Letters. Compose statement of condition and obtain appropriate legal approval.
- Manage the internal approval process for all programs and promotions.
- Organize and track the painting, routes and blitz program.
- Assume leadership role in training program, developing content and managing trainer agenda.
- Organize and track the promotional store sales.
- Review and authorize Advertising fund claims.
- Work with internal and external teams to activate tagging and measurement for continuing media tactics.
Develop strong working relationships with U.S. colleagues across functional teams (Sales, VSM, CCA, Legal, etc.)
