BIM MODELER

At GBL Design Solutions, we are looking for a BIM Modeler with a strong focus on mechanical systems to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with hands‑on experience in mechanical design and BIM modeling within the AEC/MEP industry, particularly in HVAC and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D BIM models focused on mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, piping, ductwork, etc.).
• Coordinate mechanical systems with multidisciplinary teams (architectural, structural, and MEP).
• Support the development of mechanical layouts, equipment schedules, system sizing, and coordination of mechanical systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably focused on mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP) is required (Navisworks is a plus).
• Practical experience with HVAC layouts, ductwork, piping, mechanical equipment, and system coordination.
• Experience with HVAC load calculations, equipment selection and sizing, mechanical layouts, and design of ductwork and piping systems.
• Familiarity with Revit families for mechanical components and equipment.
• English proficiency required (ability to communicate in technical contexts).
• Only candidates with proven Revit MEP mechanical experience will be considered.
