About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and results-oriented Head of Construction to lead diverse building projects in the vibrant city of Puebla, Puebla . This role is pivotal in managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring the efficient and safe execution of residential and commercial developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership capabilities, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for coordinating teams, managing resources, and upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day on-site construction operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
• Manage and direct construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize performance and workflow.
• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and quality control measures across all work sites.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage site logistics, material procurement, and equipment utilization effectively.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities to ensure smooth project progression and compliance.
• Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, incident reports, and progress documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in construction management, with a significant focus on residential and commercial buildings.
• Demonstrated success in leading construction teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Thorough understanding of construction codes, regulations, and best practices in Puebla, Puebla .
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with mixed-use developments is a plus.
