Application Security Engineer (Java) at BairesDev

What You'll Do
- Triage flagged security findings, distinguishing real vulnerabilities from false positives.
- Remediate confirmed vulnerabilities directly in Java services and React front ends.
- Apply secure coding standards throughout the remediation process.
- Partner with the security team to prioritize findings and track resolution.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong application security focus.
- Strong proficiency in Java.
- Demonstrated application security experience, including secure coding and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience with React.
- Availability to work Eastern hours.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Nice To Have
- Experience with Angular.
- Experience with SAST or static analysis tooling.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as agent-based tooling.
