Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate daily planning activities, provide feedback and support development of Planning initiatives and strategies.
  2. Create production plan and production orders based on demand plan.
  3. Assign priority to ensure customer requirements.
  4. Communicate with production and shipping departments; proactively react to changes.
  5. Work in collaboration with production team to reach highest efficiency levels, on-time delivery and communicate plans to satisfy customer requirements.
  6. Meet daily planning team to assess production schedules, adjust as necessary based on production results, optimize run quantities and minimize changeovers to help achieve 100% on-time delivery.
  7. Work closely with purchasing and planning team following escalation path due to a lack of materials with vendors.
  8. Work in coordination with Manufacturing and Quality teams on changes or deviations required.
  9. Assure maintaining the target level of inventory and avoiding obsolescence within the department.
  10. Ensure 100% on-time delivery.
  11. Maintain efficiency of capacity, material control and liability.
  12. Adhere to all environmental, safety, and health rules and regulations associated with the role.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain Field.
  2. Required at least 3 years of experience managing the Production Schedule.
  3. Ability to understand customer demand and how to sequence production.
  4. Leadership and strong communication skills.
  5. MPS Master Production Scheduling knowledge.
  6. Knowledge on high mix and take advantage of installed capacity.
  7. Good understanding of JIT and JIS environment.
  8. Understands how to document production goals and deviations from these goals on a regular basis.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  10. High proficiency on ERP system, preferably SAP.
  11. Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  12. Intermediate/Advanced English (Interview in English).
