Sr. SAP

This role serves as a key enabler of manufacturing operations by ensuring efficient production planning and high-quality master data within SAP.

The position bridges shop floor execution with system accuracy, driving reliable planning, data integrity, and informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Production Planning (PP)

• Configure and optimize SAP PP processes (MRP, production orders, BOMs, routings, work centers, Kanban).
• Ensure planning parameters align with operational realities (capacity, demand, lead times).
• Monitor MRP performance to prevent shortages, excess inventory, and bottlenecks.
• Act as the main point of contact for production-related SAP issues.

Master Data Management

• Own the lifecycle and governance of Material Master data.
• Maintain data accuracy across MRP views, procurement parameters, lot sizes, and production versions.
• Validate new material setups and ensure consistency across operations and finance.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies impacting supply chain and production.

Operational Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide functional support to production and supply chain users.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for system or data-related issues.
• Drive process improvements and participate in SAP enhancements or implementations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams.

Reporting & Data Analysis

• Generate insights on planning performance and data quality.
• Support decision-making through reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI).
• Track KPIs such as material availability, MRP accuracy, and data integrity.

Experience

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP in manufacturing environments
• Strong functional expertise in SAP PP (Production Planning) and Material Master / Master Data Management
• Proven experience with MRP, BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, and Kanban
• Experience supporting shop floor operations and production execution
• Background in resolving SAP-related incidents and driving process improvements

Nice to Have

• Integration experience with SAP QM, WM, or EWM
• Exposure to MES / Shop Floor Systems
• Experience in SAP implementations or system enhancements

Technical Skills

• SAP PP and SAP MM (required)
• SQL and/or Power BI for data analysis (preferred)
• Understanding of planning parameters, inventory control, and supply chain processes

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• SAP PP certification or equivalent experience (preferred)

Language

• Intermediate to advanced English (working in a global environment)
