Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounting Analyst to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial closing process, performing in-depth financial analysis, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. This position reports to the Senior Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and analyze reports for management, highlighting key financial metrics and insights.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S GAAP and company policies through regular review and analysis of financial transactions.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing accurate and timely financial data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and streamline processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during internal and external audits.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting function.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred, but not required. Public accounting experience a plus
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and financial modeling.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to manage and make progress on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional oral/written communication skills with ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
  • Advanced English level. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English as working language.
  • Highly motivated self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and change.
  • Experience working with tight deadlines and successfully handling multiple priorities simultaneously with minimal direct supervision.
  • Excellent work ethic - high standard of performance and production.
