Project Control Manager

We are looking for a Project Control Manager for our branch in Mexico.

The Project Control Manager will work in coordination with the Project Control Director (PJD) to ensure the implementation of methodologies and procedures across both commercial and operational phases. They will manage and support the Project Control team, providing tools for planning, cost control, and document management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise planning and cost control activities, reporting risks and critical issues to Management and proposing corrective actions.
  • Oversee project reporting and contribute to the Project Close-out and Project Control database, ensuring benchmark analysis and feedback to the Business Unit and management.
  • Coordinate with PJD to manage Project Control processes, resources, tools, and procedures for projects.
  • Manage Project Control processes for assigned projects and coordinate Project Control Managers (PJMs).
  • Provide summary data on project progress to BU and corporate management, highlighting any schedule or budget issues.
  • Analyze the economic situation of projects and prepare periodic reports for BU and corporate management.
  • Ensure coordination of administrative and accounting activities, aligned with the AFC function.
  • Oversee the preparation of periodic budgets and ensure the availability of required documentation for budget updates and final accounts.
  • Supervise planning activities during the offer phase and contribute to defining Project Control documents and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Practical experience with consolidated knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project control and accurate competencies of project management techniques and tools.
  • 10 years of experience in Project Control or Project Management.
  • Knowledge of cost control techniques and accounting rules.
  • Knowledge and mastery of planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Knowledge and mastery of company tools (ERP, Document Management System, Construction Management System, Project Control Standards, etc.).
  • Professional English.
