We seek a self-motivated, hard-working individual with investment experience and excellent academic performance. The Investment Analyst will assist the Investment Deal Team(s) in the evaluation and sourcing of new projects to invest, develop and operate a Multifamily for rent platform of +5,000 units and an investment of USD $700 million. The Investment Analyst will work closely with the Development Team(s) and Operation Team(s) to have a holistic and integral view of the business plan for each project.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
  1. Evaluate investment opportunities and assist acquisition efforts.
  2. Financial analysis, underwriting potential acquisition and development opportunities with the supervision of Associates.
  3. Working with the Development Team(s) to provide due diligence information and feasibility analysis of potential acquisitions.
  4. Periodically monitor and update financial models.
  5. Assist Investment Deal Team(s) in preparing Investment Committee memorandums and related support through market analysis and in-depth understanding of investment considerations.
  6. Assist in negotiating and drafting contract terms with landowners and business partners.
  7. Provide reports related to project status to Investments Team and other stakeholders.
  8. Track and report project status to investors, lenders, joint ventures, quasi-public partnerships, and the like in conjunction with other team members' oversight.
  9. Manage calendars including but not limited to scheduling meetings, conference calls, accepting and/or declining and/or rescheduling meetings for project staff members and sending out meeting requests on behalf of the Project Lead.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  1. Bachelor's degree and equivalent work experience in a field related to finance, economy, engineering and/or business administration.
  2. Experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Planning, Portfolio Management and/or Asset Management is valued.
  3. Ideal candidate will count with c. 2-3 years of experience in Private Equity or Investment Banking.
COMMUNICATION SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  1. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical materials, financial reports and/or legal documents.
  2. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or business owners and other stakeholders.
  3. Ability to effectively communicate in writing both correspondence and/or reports.
  4. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from stakeholders such as investment team members, accounting staff, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
  5. Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts.
  6. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  7. Ability to write simple correspondence and/or reports.
MATHEMATICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS - HIGH
  1. Ability to calculate profit, IRR percentages and equity multiples.
  2. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and area.
  3. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  4. Ability to convert between different currencies and systems of measurement.
  5. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  6. Ability to solve practical problems.
  7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  1. Advanced knowledge and working experience in Microsoft Excel.
  2. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  3. Demonstrated proficiency in using Drive or other document control software.
PERFORMANCE METRICS
  1. Accuracy and timeliness of work product.
  2. Compliance with company and departmental policies and procedures.
