We are looking for a Purchasing Supervisor.  What will you do?Supervise the team of buyers and work with suppliers, production, materials and inventory management to ensure the appropriate materials are available to meet the production schedule; coordinate with inventory to time the shipment of specific materials in line with production schedules and inventory goals; and works with suppliers to procure the appropriate materials for productionPlans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the Purchasing function.Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.Analyzes market and delivers conditions to determine present and future material availability.Supervise buyer- purchasing standard workLead Purchasing activities, and inventory management.Monitor PO place, expedites, have conferences with suppliers and Lean alignmentInteracts with Engineering and Quality departments on new products and/or revisions to existing products as well as quality parts.Serve as the Purchasing ethics/compliance representative.Supervise external and internal compliance audits.What are we looking for?-Bachelor's Degree completed-5+ years of experience in a related Purchasing role. -At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position (must)-Previous Supply Chain experience (planner, buyer/procurement, warehouse)-Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including e-mail and Microsoft Office software.-2 years of experience in SAP -material master/MM ( must)-Business/conversational English is a must due to the nature of the role.What do we offer?  Comprehensive benefits package. Opportunities for professional growth and development. Supportive and inclusive work environment. Commitment to work-life balance and employee well-being. Engagement in meaningful projects that make a difference. Johnson Controls does not request pregnancy or HIV testing as a condition for hiring, continued employment, or promotion, in accordance with its commitment to labor equality and non-discrimination.
