Working as a Project Engineer, you will be the support for various Electrification, engineering projects in the Distribution Solutions business in Apodaca, N.L, providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.
**This position reports to**:
Senior Project Engineer
**Your responsibilities**:
- Assisting project managers and project lead engineers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors.
- Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards.
- Creating and delivering the work plan and budget, as well as risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline.
- Helping customers resolve technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in Apodaca, Mexico.
- Developing your management and communication skills by working with entry-level employees.
- Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.
**Your background**:
- 2+ years of experience in Electrical field, working as Project engineer within the Manufacturing environment.
Experience to design the Switchgear Medium Voltage.
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical, mechanical, business engineering or a similar field.
- Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including SAP, AutoCAD, and CREO.
- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Intermediate level of English is highly desirable.
