Supply Chain Manager

**Purpose of Position**

This position will use end-to-end supply chain expertise & leadership to develop, deliver and support effective operating plans to achieve significant improvements across a balanced scorecard in quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
The supply chain manager will be responsible for defining and executing operations strategy aligned with the division guidelines.
Position reports directly to Global Logistics & Distribution Manager.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage functional areas of planning, shipping, receiving, finish goods inventory and ensure on-time delivery to domestic and international customers;
- Own inventory scorecard and establish optimal KPIs that align to different levels of ownership in the organization, driving for root cause inputs and addressing risks to meet operation targets;
- Develops warehousing network and inventory management/control in alignment with commercial plans and strategies;
- Ensures policies, procedures and training are in place for optimization of workforce
- Develop and track key metrics related to the performance of the warehouse
- Effectively communicate warehouse performance, key initiatives, opportunities, changes to the CLS organization and other stakeholders;
- Participate in S&OP process and develop/support short-term plans, long term capacity planning.
Direct interface with the Demand Management team, Commercial Forecast team and Product Line teams;
- Develop and maintain inventory plan to meet customer requirements; develop strategies to increase inventory turns, reduce costs, and optimize customer service.
Identify methods and processes to improve velocity of material moving through the warehouse;
- Develop the team in an environment that supports safety, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
- Maintains a monthly scorecard to support Division Vital Few;

- Implementation of new distribution center in CALA;
**Required Education & Skills**
- Education and Experience_
- B.S.
in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of supply chain experience across multiple disciplines and increasing project responsibility
- Proven leadership skills
- Proven capability to manage, coach, direct, and develop employees

**Desired Skills**
- APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP)
- MRP/ERP system knowledge
- Project Management
