**REGIONAL SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER**

**Position Description**:

- The Regional Supply Chain Planner is responsible for demand and supply planning.
The planner ensures an adequate product supply according to customer needs while minimizing working capital.
The planner will reflect demand changes in our planning systems to ensure high forecast and inventory accuracy.
- The planner is the link between sales, purchasing and operations (production and logistics) and adjusts parameters to related changes.
- The planner will take a significant role in the Sales & Operations Planning Process(S&OP) to align the demand and supply plan for specific product lines.
**Scope of Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide regional customer forecasting in close collaboration with sales (US, CAN, BRA and MEX)
- Provide regional supplier forecasting in close collaboration with Commodity Management
- Develop statistical forecast models in collaboration with Central Demand Planner to improve forecast accuracy
- Calculate total replenishment lead time and align it to customer requirements
- Controlling of parts availability and stock turn development
- Selection and maintenance of SAP planning parameters (safety stock, lot size)
- Optimize and control lot sizes within the production and purchasing organization
- Support elaboration of global processes and guidelines
- Coordinate ramp up and -down process
- Optimize days inventory on hands
- Takes actions to reduce slow and none mover
- Identify and release material for scrapping
- Coordinate and approves special stock
- Preparation of business cases regarding to planned stock assortment changes
- Observance of defined processes and guidelines

**Requirements**:

- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a related discipline such as business administration or supply chain management
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of SAP ERP (S4HANA) or other software related to inventory planning is preferred
- Experienced with other software packages including Windows, Microsoft Office.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables,...).
- Experience in process improvement initiatives
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
