**Job Title**
Logistic Coordinator

**Position Purpose**
This AutoZoner Transit times Optimize Maritime and Ground shipments Overseas suppliers to get the lowest "lead time" in the supply chain and keep a check on shipments in transit which would give visibility and predictability to Supply Chain members including Distribution Centers.
**Primary Accountabilities**:

- Coordinate the operations and administrative activities with the Logistic Program companies, asure and provide visibility to replenishment team users, maintain contact with the DCs and coordinate the containers delivery appointment to unload process.
- Track the traffic control, for all logistic program vendors, and carriers freight in order to determinate the cause of change of any delay and advances in the arrival of the merchandise to Monterrey and Tepeji, working with the Carriers and DC's to improve the performance.
- Reduce transit times for international shipments coming to the DC, in order to avoid demurrages and extra import cost, work in conjunction with the Replenishment team to reduce the "lead time" and get a better inventory level at DC (saving inventory cost).
- Generate and maintain the performance and vendors KPI's to provide to replenishment team enough info to take a better decision related with the performance.
- Coordinate the Logistic vendor with Transplace maintain contact with DCs to improve performance

**Education & Experience**
Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Area of Study: International Business Bachelor
Years of Experience: Three to five years.
Type of Experience: International Traffic, Known of Chinese and Asia Ports activities, Imports by Mexican Ports Operations, known of USA inland carriers
Other / Preferred: Fluent Spanish and English, Excel proficient
