Job Title: Indirect Purchasing Coordinator
Summary: We are seeking an experienced Indirect Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all indirect purchasing activities for our Tire Plant facilities in Mexico City and Morelia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute all indirect purchasing activities according to the CPMG for our Tire Plant SLP, Mexico City facilities, and Morelia facility, ensuring compliance with Purchasing Corporate Policies.
- Responsible for order creations for the CPMG assigned for all locations mentioned before with a value of USD 5,000- USD 25,000.
- Monitor and track orders delayed with the respective suppliers: Mexico and the United States.
- Support all SLP needs in terms of Purchasing activities.
- Responsible for negotiation with suppliers: services, products, prices, and quality, ensuring savings in each activity.
- Responsible for the whole Purchasing process: tendering (RFI, RFQ), SDS/SS, Negotiations, Contracts.
- Responsible for the supplier tendering selection considering SCOUT process: SAP supplier approval.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in International Commerce, Mechanical Engineer, or Industrial Engineer.
- 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing (Indirect material, capital and investment).
- SAP MM knowledge at an intermediate level.
- Advanced English Skills.
- Intermediate MS Excel knowledge.
- Project Management Knowledge at an advanced level.
- Basic Import/Export activities knowledge.
- Supply Chain knowledge at a basic level.
- Process & Systems: (ERP, MRP Office) at an advanced level.
