Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization and its customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area.
You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions for the applied products and technology.
The work model for the role is: #L-Hybrid.
This role is contributing to the ELECTRIFICATION team and stakeholders.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Provide pre-sales support for ABB electrical distribution and control products.Promote ABB Sales opportunities by providing timely competitor-to-ABB product cross-reference support.Assist customers and sales with accurate product selection for the intended application use (form, fit, and function).Interact with Technology (R&D), Supply Chain (factory) and Product Management to provide commercial solutions for customers.Work cross-functionally with global teams.Document customer cases and actions using case tracking tool, Salesforce.Answer customer phone calls as needed.Qualifications for the roleBachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or other Engineering or relevant equivalent experience.Minimum of 5 years with ABB and GE products.In depth knowledge of ABB and GE and competitor residential, distribution, and control products, including load centers, transformers, modular metering, industrial breakers, panel boards, motor control, pushbuttons, safety switches, and programming MODBUS.Strong team orientation and strong interpersonal skills.Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate in English with US Customers via phone and email.Ability to work with all levels of the organization.More about usWe value people from different backgrounds.
