The position exists to ensure the process robustness and continues improvements on our standards.
Develop and implement the improvements on process on site and ensure definition of standards in a global perspective.
Set optimization of processes and document from the analysis of the data.
Challenge our current standards with the investigation and test in a environment appropriate.
Develop a coordination of actions and be recognized as a accountable on the process with enough capabilities to support the operation.
Create a great global network and be the point of entry in terms of engineering in LOM.
Molding Process Area is a critical function in Molding Operations, the objective of the area is to ensure the right safety, quality and delivery into the molding injection processes.
In addition, Process Area is responsible to enable the new platforms and technologies defining the process for them and supporting the deployment into molding operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Creation / update documents related to process (Moulding instructions, mould cards, etc).
- Implementation of new equipment or improvement changes related to Molding Injection Processes.
- Development an implementation of continues improvement projects in Molding area.
- Global collaboration and network with other sites.
- Support production on troubleshooting problems and create reports to analyze data to suggest improvements on the current processes.
Do you have what it takes?
- 2 to 5 years of experience on process area of injection moulding.
Bachelor's in Engineering or similar desire.
- Must be comfortable with define and implement projects involving different departments.
- Analytical skills, good communication and partner management.
- Injection Plastic Process and Mould knowledge
- Able to manage Microsoft Office, especially Excel and as a plus SAP.
- Problem solving knowledge, has worked with Lean and Six Sigma methodology
- Language: Advanced English.
Good communication skills both verbally and in writing and comfortable in presenting complex ideas
