JOB SUMMARYThe Ops Project Manager II leads and supports assigned projects and initiatives of medium to high complexity applying project management methodology to support the company and group's strategy.
Manage assigned projects through the various stages of the project lifecycle, from concept to launching.
This includes developing SOW, business proposals, functional requirements, project plan w/milestones and implementation plan.
Provide management and guidance toward successful collaboration with multi-functional groups and direct project team responsible for implementation of Jabil's strategies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDefine concise goals and objectives within a project frameworkEnsure all project requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood and properly translated for executionDefine and recognize project Key Performance Indicators and manage the work within scope, quality, time and cost constraintsConduct project risk reviews and appropriate mitigationFacilitate communication as appropriate to all involved and manage the stakeholders, including escalating issues to the next level of managementCollaborate in determining forecast project budget and staffing needs for current and future site needsAccountable for overall project success, including cost, schedule, quality, and scope managementAccountable for customer satisfaction both internal and external to project successAbility to form and lead strong multi-functional teams to achieve company and/or customer objectivesUnderstand and exceed customer (internal or external) needs and expectationsIdentify creative ways to implement corrective actions in a cost-effective mannerUtilize tools to track changes and identify cost impact for review with senior managementProvide feedback to project team and leaders on concerns with costDrive the wider team to continuously improve in key operational metrics and the achievement of project and organizational goalsDevelop and own project plan, establishing a road map with clear dates and clear deliverablesProvide regular project updates to project team, relevant departments, stakeholders, project champions and senior leadership as neededWork with stakeholders to define project road maps and deliverablesClarify and communicate project objectives and success criteriaEstablish and maintain communications with both customer personnel and senior management as neededEnsure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriatelyFacilitate communication and education for all interested parties as deemed necessaryResponsible for managing cross-divisional, cross-functional, and cross-cultural teamsBuild and structure integrated teams to ensure maximum performance; provide direction and motivationProvide mentorship and coaching to project team members, giving and receiving both written and verbal feedbackIdentify and prepare proposals that close gaps and mitigate riskAdhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisorComply and follow all procedures within the company security policyMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedJOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTSExperience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to form and lead strong multi-functional teams to achieve company and customer (internal or external) objectivesOrganize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business styleAbility to effectively present information to management and/or customer personnelAbility to respond in a timely fashion to common inquiries or complaintsDefine, develop and implement strategies that contribute to the overall company and group strategic directionDemonstrate high performance orientation, detail orientation, market knowledge and sound judgmentDemonstrate ability to build and leverage partnerships, implement change and manage projectsProficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills requiredAdvanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages in an integrated system such as SAPEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 5+ years of experienceDesired experience in Management/supervisory roleMinimum of 1-year experience leading projects or in project managementPMP Certification or equivalent preferredOr an equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training#J-18808-Ljbffr
