Job DescriptionAs a Senior Data Storage and Resilience Engineer at Micron, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence.Key Responsibilities:Design and Implement Storage Solutions: Define, design, engineer, and implement storage and backup hardware and solutions to meet business requirements.Collaborate with Customers and Teams: Work with customers to gather requirements and propose, engineer, and provision storage and backup solutions.Manage System Setup and Standardization: Manage system setup and standardization of features and usage to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.Provide Technical Expertise: Provide 24x7 On-Call technical support and expertise for customer issues and service provider escalation.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:Experience with Storage Solutions: At least 6 years of experience managing storage solutions, preferably with NetApp Cluster Mode, NAS, and SAN configurations.Cloud Deployment Experience: Good hands-on knowledge on NetApp Cloud deployment such as FSX, CVO, CVS, ANF across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).Strong Understanding of Data Center Architecture: Good understanding of data center architecture and automation technologies.ISILON Storage Experience: Experience working with ISILON Storage is a must-have skill.Cisco SAN Switch Configuration Experience: Experience with Cisco SAN Switch configuration and support such as Virtual SAN, Fiber channel zoning, LUN masking, HBA configuration and tuning.
