**Job Description**:
As a Hardware Design Engineer Sr, you will be hands-on responsible for all aspects of the PCB layout process including development, analysis and testing of innovative technologies for electronic devices and PCB layout design.
Working closely with mechanical and hardware development teams that:

- Are currently working on next generation connectivity modules including OTA update abilities.
- Are responsible for advanced development activities for communication modules that enable autonomous driving/advanced driver assistance systems.
- Development projects include multi-core/high-speed hardware solutions and hardware based cyber security solutions, as well as audio video bridging (AVB).
The Automotive Electronics (AE) division develops new electronic control units (e.g.
for cameras, gateways, power inverter modules, air bags, ABS, ADAS and a range of other modules) in close cooperation with manufacturing.
These products are engineered to a state-of-the-art level both in technology and reliability and are to be found in cars of a very large group of manufacturers.
**Responsibilities**:

- Development and checking of PCB design.
- Active participation in projects in close cooperation with the manufacturing plants, mechanical department, technology department and the PCB manufacturer.
- Electronic circuits analysis, design, and testing
- Support of projects in an international development network.
- Creation of production documents for samples and series.
- Work on technical questions from customers & development partners, in discussion with product experts.
- Cooperation in SE teams for optimization of function and cost for PCB
- Technical leadership for products development in layout activities and global competence network.
- Lead product design content
- Coordinate with global collaboration network
- Review work-products content release

Cooperation in the following activities:

- New technology track/expedite issues with other departments
- Targeted carry on the technology issues
- Seek solutions for a feasible implementation in PCB design for new requirements
- Coordination of product requirements with ETL
- Optimization of development tools and working methods

**Qualifications**:
**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering (or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of analog and digital electronics technologies
- Advanced English level
- Advanced Knowledge of PCB design/ schematic capture software
- Hands-on experience with test equipment, i.e.
multimeter, oscilloscope, soldering iron.
- Basic software programming skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation.
- Able to work independently

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Product Engineering experience throughout the whole Product Life Cycle.
Preferred experience in automotive development life cycle.
- Knowledge in Robust Design and other design methodologies.
- Advanced knowledge in EMC, heat transfer and thermal design.
- Basic experience using PCB Design SWs such as Altium or Zuken.
- Advance knowledge of electrical circuits and electronics.
- Demonstrate outstanding verbal, written and visual communication skills.
- Experience in working with an Agile environment or system
