**What you will bring to the team**

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer UI developer to provide custom enhancements to retail solutions using HTML/CSS/JavaScript technologies

**What you will be doing**:
Your typical day as a Toshiba **Front End Software Developer-Engineer Middle/Senior **will involve:
**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in the design, development, and test/debug client UI code using HTML, CSS and Vue JavaScript
- Resolving Unit and Functional defects
- Resolves typical technical challenges requiring a moderate scope of domain and discipline knowledge.
- Interfaces with internal & external teams to ensure alignment of deliverables.
- Work directly within the agile development team and stakeholders to help with existing requirements, adhere to timelines, and meet deliverables.
- Learn about TGCS product offerings and how clients use them.
**Naturally To be successful in this role, you must have and know of**
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years professional experience in software development
- 4+ years UI Web development with Vue (preferred), Angular, React Framework
- Front end technologies such as HTML5, CSS and TypeScript
- Understanding of MVC/MVVM patterns
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirements team meetings
- Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
- English: Fluent
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy

**Preferred Skills**:

- Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
- Knowledge of, at least one functional language including Java8
- Knowledge of professional software engineering, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems
- Experience with Agile software development
- Operating Systems (Windows, Linux)
- Experience with containerized micro-services (Docker, Kubernetes, SpringBoot)
