1.
The Associate Application Engineer/Engineering Analyst will review customer specifications and drawings (one-lines, elevations and schematics), for correctness and completeness and resolve discrepancies.
2.
The Associate Application Engineer/Engineering Analyst is responsible for preparing a complete bill of material, which satisfies the order requirements.
3.
Develop the necessary electrical schematics and instruction for drafting.
4.
Provide technical assistance to internal/external customers.
5.
The Associate Application Engineer/Engineering Analyst is responsible for verifying that the Customer's purchase order, commercial terms and conditions, price sheets and quotation (if applicable), and is included with the order.
If not, the Associate Application Engineer/Engineering Analyst will contact the appropriate Sales Office Personnel to obtain the necessary information and documentation.
6.
If customer approvals are required, the Associate Application Engineer/Engineering Analyst will arrange to have the appropriate drawings made available to the customer for review and approval.
7.
Provide assistance to the manufacturing operation as required.
This includes the following: 8.
Technical assistance to the assembly and test personnel at Richland Center, Monterrey and Tecate.
9.
Meet with customer engineering personnel for final inspection or witness test.
10.
Provide the customer with the required documentation package.
11.
Provide assistance and coordination with Expeditor and Manager or Supervisor.
12.
Contribute ideas for continuous improvement on an ongoing basis.
13.
Schedule orders on the MCC order tracking system 14.
Use and promote the use of Engineering Workstation systems.
15.
Focus on improving activities and processes to minimize order change notices.
16.
Demonstrate a "Can-do" attitude show strong commitment.
17.
Participate in customer negotiations and final documentation of all contract terms.
18.
The Associate Application Engineer/Engineering Analyst will complete the order schedule using order track system.
Experiência y requisitos
- A background in engineering discipline with strong technical knowledge and 1 years experience.
- Good Commercial Skills, communication skills, and organizational skill are required.
- Work requires mental concentration and visual acuity to utilize computer terminals up to 80% of the work time.
