The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of setting up the metal stamping operation in our plant in Reynosa, Mexico.
This includes the layour, workflow, capacity analysis and equipment needed related to our future stamping operation.
Responsible for BOM release in respective PLM system.
Assist for test plan and test report creation and assist for manufacture and supplier communication of technical topic and design implementation in production line.
The Mechanical Project Manager will possess a bachelor's degree in a technicial field with prior experience in product management role with large, cross-functional project teams to develop and launch integrated systems into production on time and within budget.
**Core area of responsibility**:

- Plant, execute, control, and coordinate the activities of a project core team to produce deliverables agreed upon with management
- Implement a metal stamping manufacturing that can deliver first in class part quality, system reliability and cost efficiency
- Provide technical direction on equipment design and build
- Manage the project and execute activities around the boundaries of scope, schedule, risks, cost, safety, and technical specifications
- Develop, document, and standardize processes and procedures for future equipment and workflows (setup, change over, troubleshooting, etc.)
- Facilitate meetings with cross functional teams to understand the risks, define action plans and drive to resolutions (Procurement, Quality, Engineering, etc.)
- Assist with training personnel on equipment, processes.
and procedures
- Manage external, internal, and capital project costs
- Plan and moderate FMEA's safety reviews, and installation workshops
- Report project status to upper management weekly
- To work according of the I.M.S. (Integrated Management System) which includes ISO 9K, 18K, 14K, 27K, and 22301

- Manufacturing knowledge of metal forming and stamping operations
- Ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives in complex environments
- Knowledge of safety regulatory, ergonomics and manufacturing principles

**Eduacational / professional qualification**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field (i.e.
Manufacturing / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, or equivalent)
- Specialization setting up manufacturing related to metal stamping with advanced technologies
- Expertise in a high-volume metal stamping manufacturing environment
- 3 years of experience in Project Management and Planning experience
- PMP Cerified or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

Position may require some travel to vendor sites as well as between Landis+Gyr locations to meet with project teams, external partners and/or business customers.
