Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Sr Test Engineer located in Guadalajara, North. Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Sr Test Engineer role involves implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment. What a typical day looks like:Coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.Coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, and record test data.Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.May develop or use computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software.Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as problem-solving techniques.Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.Performs and supports equipment verification and integration in production.Creates and maintains process documentation.Actively searches for new technologies or procedures in the test sector.Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.The experience we're looking to add to our team:BA/BS or equivalent work experience.Strong knowledge in electronics (Digital).Strong use of advanced test instruments for debugging (Oscilloscope, NVA, curve tracer, etc.
).Must have ICT, AXI, Jtag, functional test experience and AOI.Fluent English > 80%.Capability to travel to support other sites worldwide (30%).Must have Current Visa.Nice to have Advanced Labview and Test stand experience.Nice to have DFT (Design For Testability) Analysis.Nice to have Operating systems (Windows and Linux - any common distro).Nice to have Analog and RF experience.Nice to have Programming languages (Python, C or Java/Node).What you'll receive for the great work you provide:Competitive Salary.Life & Medical insurance.Christmas Bonus.Food Coupons.Saving Fund.MG61
