- PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Develops new or modified process formulations, defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products. May conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts, equipment automation technology, and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processes.- Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechatronics, mechanical or industrial engineering
- A minimum of 1.5 years of experience as Quality or Process Engineering
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to persuade others to change existing practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems
- Proficient with computer and information technology
- Use of Minitab and/or JMP
- In-depth knowledge of SMT processes, including stencil printing, component placement, reflow soldering, and inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in using SMT equipment, such as screen printers, pick and place machines, reflow ovens, and automated optical inspection (AOI) systems.
- Familiarity with quality management systems, statistical process control (SPC), and failure analysis techniques.
- Experience with process optimization methodologies, such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.Job Responsibilities
- Optimize production processes to deliver cost savings, improve quality, and support new product introduction..
- Identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities throughout the asigned manufacturing operation.
- Provide fact-driven root cause analysis.
- Assembles reports to document process status and changes.
- Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades.
- Communicates findings and proposals to upper management.
- Provides thorough work instructions/process documentation for successful implementation of process changes.
- Conducts risk assessments.
- Owner of pFMEA & Quality Control Plan
- Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
