EHS Manager

_**Profile**:_
- MB is looking to hire a Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to join our team who is energetic and demonstrates a passion for leading the safety culture for the Santa Catarina Facility. The EHS Manager will also be responsible for the property security reporting to the Director of Manufacturing Operations._
- **What You’ll Be Doing**:_
- Safety Gemba walks.
- Emergency preparedness and safety communications.
- Develop and lead investigation processes for all incidents and accidents.
- Determine root causes and prepare/direct corrective and preventive action plans.
- Ensure legal compliance.
- Follow up on risk assessments plans.
- Review annual budget to deploy EHS strategies to achieve company OKR’s.
- Lead emergency response teams and emergency drills planning.
- Lead waste management process.
- Implement or collaborate on projects to reduce waste generation.
- Lead contractor Safety programs.
- Ensure effective communication with leadership.
- Establish the EHS plan for new business growth to eliminate unsafe conditions present on machines, equipment, and processes to reduce accidents.
- Responsible for establishing the EHS Objectives and targets focused on maintaining zero accidents, energy, water and waste reduction.
- Participate in equipment safety reviews and provide guidance for safe design of manufacturing equipment and processes**.**
- **Requirements**:_
- Fluent English.
- Experience as a manager with direct reports. Experience mentoring and developing people.
- Problem-solving skills; process-minded.
