KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Train employees on safety expectations - Train employees on standard work and enforce the adherence to work sequence - Achieve and maintain a 5S system, which includes the use of employee checklists and 5S audits - Drive changeover times to zero - Work with appropriate support groups to resolve quality issues - Oversee all production and prototype assembly work to ensure all work is performed in an expeditious, complete and cost effective manner. - Monitor the production schedule and make necessary adjustments take place to meet delivery and quality goals - Ensure that good inventory practices are being followed maintained on a daily basis - Maintain and recommend improvements to the Kan Ban process as required - Be a coach and mentor to all employees in the operations organization - Ensure that company policy and procedures are being followed - Conduct performance evaluations - Lead, plan and direct manufacturing process - Facilitate Lean Manufacturing process improvements - Provide expert technical assistance and on-the-job training to the production employees and Leads. - Assess priorities and develop and implement process changes. - Perform root cause analysis and corrective action input on manufacturing CAR’s. - Participate actively in design and product review. - Other duties as assigned.

Experiência y requisitos

Education: Requiered Bachelor in Engineering or Business Administration, a plus can be a Certification on Lean or Six Sigma disciplines Experience: - A minimum of 3 year as Supervisor or leading a work team in a manufacturing environment Qualifications: - Knows about design, implements and optimizes manufacturing processes, Project management skills, leadership skills
