This is a key Regional Sales Manager position for Mexico, Northern Latin America and the Caribbean, responsible for direct reports and an assigned quota of revenue and margin for Foam, Sprinkler and Special Hazards products. The leader will be responsible for profitably growing sales for multiple product lines through a distribution channel, as well as responsibility to expand and grow market share. In addition to delivering growth, this leader is responsible for ensuring short and long-term customer satisfaction and developing strong business relationships with executive level management at key accounts. The leader is accountable for executing a strategy to be the best team in the industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop annual regional business plans including sales plans, sales targets, account coverage, and distributor reviews.
- Identify new business opportunities and execute strategy with short and long-term commitments.
- Work closely with the business development team to ensure longer term specification and market work that ultimately results in sales.
- Work closely with the territory managers to ensure specific product line growth initiatives are implemented effectively.
- Conduct territory market assessments to identify growth opportunities to deliver business goals and objectives.
- Work with product management to provide sales input to new product development process and ensure new products are introduced effectively across the region.
- Monitor and manage price to align with overall the Americas strategy.
- Monitor business forecasts and participate in S&OP process.
- Develop and coach direct reports to ensure continuing high and engaged performance.
- Work closely with the Director of Sales to ensure goal alignment.
- Conduct regular business performance reviews.
- Professionally represent JCI at all industry events and during all customer contact. Ensure alignment with L&D for Mexico City Facility, including Customer Service and other internal Teams.

**What We Look For**:

- Proven track record (minimum 5 years) of accomplishments and achievements in driving profitable growth in the sales function.
- Experience working with end users and channels.
- Proven track record of accomplishments in negotiating with large customers.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well with a diverse range of internal and external partners.
- High level of personal accountability, as well as holding colleagues to account for performance in a positive way.
- Ability to train new salespeople in selling skills and selling processes.
- Knowledge of at least one area of fire protection (Sprinkler, Foam, Special Hazards projects, contracting and services) is a plus.
- Experience in other functions is a plus, as well as a strong background in various markets / countries.
