**Role: Project Manager with Data Governance**
**Pay rate: $20-22/hr**
**Mexico (Remote)**
Project Management
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain detailed project plan, deliverables and backlog. Replace MS Project and Teams Planner as needed
- Assist in developing project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Ensure Data Governance RoadMap is tracking on schedule and provide monthly reports on progress
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Identify and report status, blockers, challenges and risks. Communicate effectively when not meeting charter and timelines
Experience
- 10+ Yrs. of strong Project Manager experience domain is a Must
- Experience leading or playing a significant role in an ambitious and successful data team
- Experience of leading projects and good understanding of various project management techniques
- Experience in delivering data initiatives that have provided tangible efficiencies or business value
- Experience determining project scope to include deliverables, boundaries, and requirements.
- Experience preparing project schedule with milestones and defining tasks
- Experience managing and controlling scope changes.
- Experience facilitating impact assessments of scope change requests
- Experience communicating outcomes of scope change requests and updating project documents upon approval of all scope changes
- Experience generating project status and milestone reports for the projects
- Experience defining the project goals and ensuring that the projects are delivered on time.
- Good Working experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Experience transitioning organizations from Waterfall to Agile a plus
- Good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- PMP, CSM certification is a plus
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: $58,000.00 - $60,000.00 per month
