Division Overview

Hubbell Construction & Energy (HCE) focuses on products to support four business segments: Connectors, Grounding & Tooling, Gas Connectors & Accessories, Harsh & Hazardous, and Distribution. With markets in renewable energy, lighting, transportation, data center, telecom, utility, extreme environment, gas and water distribution, power generation and oil & gas, we guarantee that our products set the standards for industry solutions. **Position Overview**:

- The
- **Demand and Supply Chain Specialist **will play a key role in:
- Reviewing existing relevant business processes across HES to identify opportunities for standardization / adoption of best practice
- Prioritizing opportunities, selecting initiatives, gaining consensus across stakeholders and executing business process improvement projects
- Partnering with the Corporate Business Process team to assure alignment on process standardization and the adoption of best practice
- Drive improvement and ensure alignment with business needs
- This position will report to the Materials Management Systems Architect and work closely with HES operations, brand management, site-level management and customer service to drive standardization to support core business key metrics.**Skills and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS).
- Results-oriented with a track record of success in delivering on business objectives.
- Exceptional judgment with a demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and be creative in developing alternative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with all staff levels and backgrounds.
- Must have 5 years + experience in SAP across multiple functional areas including procurement, demand/forecast management and Integrated business planning (IBP).

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Identify key business processes and standardization / best practice opportunities.
- Assume leadership role to analyze processes, procedures and technologies available, translating into tangible documented procedures and training programs for supply chain activities, driving standardization
- Active participant and input/output validation contributor for SIOP meetings structure to guarantee information integrity while engaging supply plants, brand management and sales management teams to work towards a single goal: servicing customers
- Processing and analyzing forecasting models within Integrated Business Planning Software (IBP) to optimize demand signals for manufacturing plants and procurement teams; provides support and training to various manufacturing sites.
- Develop and maintain strong global relationships in a matrixed environment of business, corporate and cross functional levels.
- Work with the HES Master Data Management team to provide assistance and direction to ensure high data quality relative to the data needs of key business processes and performance management.
- Work with the Corporate Business Process team and HUBS IT to ensure solutions are scalable and utilize enterprise approved IT tools and infrastructure.
