**Position Summary**:
Senior Electrical Engineers design, develop, upgrade, test, and monitor electrical components and machinery. He supervise other engineers, generate detailed drawings, compile reports, and mentor new apprentices. They also conduct research and participate in ongoing learning and compliance to applicable electrical codes and standards.
Senior Electrical Engineer needs to demonstrate strong leadership abilities and organizational skills.
Outstanding Senior Electrical Engineers are passionate about engineering developments and able to efficiently troubleshoot systems.
**Duties**:
The Senior Electrical Engineer’s responsibilities include analyzing existing electrical systems and making cost-effective improvements, conducting research, designing testing methods, completing quality assurance, inspecting the equipment, running diagnostics, as well as training new hires. He needs to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
2. Supervises electrical engineers to manage development, design and testing of electrical components.
3. Developing, reviewing, updating, modifying, and approving electrical design plans and work schedules.
4. Liaising with clients and other engineers to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
5. Establishing relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, other professionals, and expanding networks.
6. Maintaining and improving existing engineering processes.
7. Participating in conferences, events, and networking and learning opportunities.
8. Drawing up budgets, schedules, company regulations, and various other documents.
9. Analyzing existing processes and scheduling meetings to discuss improvement initiatives.
10. Conducting research, performing diagnostics, and troubleshooting equipment.
11.Assisting with recruitment, training, and onboarding.
12.Ensuring a safe, positive work environment.
**Education Degree**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering General
**Required Experience**:
- Extensive practical experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Practical experience with CAD software.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent motivational skills and multitasking abilities.
- Travel up to 10% (including international)
**Preferred Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Master's degree preferable.
- Five to eigh (5 to 8) years as a minimum of related electrical or automation and mechatronic engineering experience is desirable.
- Experience with electrical engineering development tools, such as Microsoft Office, AutoCad, RsLogix 500, 5000, LabVIEW
- Experience with LEAN or Six Sigma methodology is a plus
