**Responsibilities**
- Maintain the quality of mechanical components catalog used by EXFO;
- Review and approv specifications of components designed by R&D designers;
- Work closely with suppliers to make sure they are meeting EXFO specifications;
- Write and maintain quality inspection plans of incoming material;
- Communicate non-conformities to suppliers and work with them on corrective actions;
- Participate to cost reduction projects by qualifying new suppliers or working in continuous improvement projects with current suppliers;
- Monitor technology changes/evolutions in the machining, sheetmetal wrking, plastic injection molding industries and communicate them to EXFO's technical groups;
- Recommend new suppliers and technologies to to the R&D teams;
- Visit and audit suppliers;
**Qualifications**
- Mechanial engineering degree (or equivalent experience);
- Excellent communication habilities;- Fluent in Spanish and English (read and write)
- Capable of working in multiples mandates at the same time and good priority management;
- Leadership, teamwork and autonomy habilities;
- Willingness to travel within and outside Mexico;EXFO is an equal opportunity employer
