Materials Planner

**This is an onsite position in Iztapalapa, Mexico City.**

Thales is looking for a **Materials Planner** who is primarily responsible for having enough Materials to guarantee Production Continuity taking into consideration the Inventory Levels within authorized KPI’s.

In this position, you will also be responsible for analyzing and prepare recovery plans in case of risks or delays of Materials vs Plan.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Ensure optimal levels of PVC & Overlays inventory to guarantee stock availability to attend the Production Forecast and Volumes Objectives by doing Materials stock revisions, MRP run analysis and Purchase Orders elaboration.
- Analyze and prepare recovery plans in case of risks or delays of Materials vs Plan.
- Establish strong partnership relationships that are mutually beneficial with our suppliers, to facilitate improvements in quality, cost and overall responsiveness; a well as maintain a strong Relationship & Communication with Corporate Teams.
- Maintain Corporate Months On Hand (MSOH) Goals while avoiding Production Impacts due to lack of Materials.
- Strong compromise on Continuous Improvement of their own Process and the Area.

**Minimum Requirements**
- At least 2-4 years of progressive experience in planning, purchasing or procurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering or related field.
- Intermediate - Advanced English proficiency.
- Demand Planning and Inventories administration experience is required.
- Advanced experience with Excel.
- ERP knowledge would be beneficial (SAP, Oracle).
- Resilient, with strong capabilities to work in high pressure environments and situations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Results oriented.
