The Data Operations Engineer will play a critical role in achieving the strategic value of our data by taking ownership and resolving critical operational issues impacting Takeda business function, and incorporating data quality and business logic with consistency and stability to ensure the completeness, accuracy, value, and quality on an ongoing basis. As a leader in supporting the Customer Data Management processes in the USBU, you will provide input to improve operational efficiency, data quality, and consistency, increasing reliability of data for US stakeholders and end users, leveraging your communication and partnership skills to promote and ensure adoption of the platform and processes.

**Objectives**:

- Acts as leader across internal teams to drive resolution of any operational issues for the data integration of digital products through an intensive analysis and review of the current systems and business needs.
- Ensure the quality, completeness, and accuracy of data definitions.
- Use data quality software to interrogate data sets.
- Design data quality monitors to meet project data needs.
- Perform detailed analysis in order to identify trends and patterns in data.
- Analyze findings and present summarized results to project teams.
- Document business rules for data.
- Support and promote data principles, policies, and standards.
- Perform root cause analysis on data anomalies and work with data stewards to resolve issues.

**Accountabilities**:
**Incident Management**:

- Responsible for driving incident resolution with full ownership (post-triage team) for designated customer groups.
- Monitor and communicate incident and service requests impacts and trends related to assigned customer groups.
- Assist and collaborate with teams in problem and major incident management activities specifically identification, research, and initial vendor contact.

**Operations Management**:

- Facilitate and process service requests and participate in project planning and coordination across all involved teams.
- Participate in testing of new technologies for impact analysis and transition to ongoing operations.
- Manage individual capacity and balance time between operations and initiatives, meeting expectations for ongoing resourcing processes.
- Support reliable and stable data management, security, backup, restoration, archiving, and replication.
- Leverage extensive knowledge of systems, process flows and procedures to aid analyses and recommendations for solution offerings.
- Coordination with various groups (technical and business oriented) and develop meaningful relationships, driving issue root cause analysis and resolution across workstreams.
- Provide input to US DD&T and Business community on Operational process and best practices as part of developing commercial digital strategies.
- Partner with Global platform teams to ensure continuous alignment of platform operating models with USBU needs, as well as an integrated approach to any issue resolution.
- Support the Commercial Operations and franchise teams for data related questions, analysis and reporting related to commercial ecosystem and related interfaced systems.

**Education, Behavioral Skills and Competencies**:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training is required
- 7+ years of experience in Information Technology, 3-5 yrs. strong focus on delivery and operations.
- Proven competences in stakeholder alignment, business need analysis, customer focus, and result focus, delivery.
- Prior experience working with and managing third-party service providers required.
- Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build trust, listen, and ask effective questions.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
