**What you will bring to the team**

We’re looking for a software developer who will work on TCx Sky. The developer must have knowledge of all stages of software development.

The developer will be working alongside other engineers and developers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for our platform.

**What you will be doing**:
Your typical day as a Toshiba **Mdl.** **Embedded Software Developer **will involve:

- Analyze requirements and provide schedule input
- Programming duties including coding, design, unit-testing, building defined features, investigation, and fixing/verifying defects
- Resolution of technical challenges requiring a narrow scope of domain and discipline knowledge
- Implementation of product and solution features, according to guidance.
- Generate and validate product documentation
- Work directly within the agile development team and stakeholders to help with existing requirements, adhere to timelines, and meet deliverables.
- Client-facing professionalism and skills
- Learn about TGCS product offerings and how clients use them.
- Learn about how TGCS products go from an idea to a fully-fledged product.

**Naturally To be successful in this role, you must have and know of**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of professional experience in software development
- Participate and lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirements team meetings
- You will need to know how to configure in kernel
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and data structures
- Strong knowledge in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
- Strong knowledge of C and C++
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems (command line, internals, and build process)
- Strong knowledge of shell scripting
- Experience in Yocto (bitbake recipes)
- English: Fluent

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of professional software engineering, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems
- Experience with Agile software development
- Experience with Python
