Route and package the wire harness, define covering components. Create and verify 2D wire harness drawings. Lead interface to customer for customer change control, technical and program engineering deliverables; also lead interface to manufacturing for any 2D wire harness drawing/MBOM issues. Support continuous improvement of the design.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Engineering Customer Interface**
- Lead customer interface for technical issues and program engineering deliverables
- Represent YNCA Engineering at customer change control meetings (e.g., PMT, PAT, etc.) and design reviews (e.g., technical design review, digital buck review, system compatibility review, etc.)
- Represent YNCA manufacturing at customer to support YNA DFM (_Design for Manufacturing_) guidelines
- Support vehicle builds and launches at customer pilot and assembly plants

**Manufacturing Interface**
- Lead manufacturing interface for technical issues and program engineering deliverables
- Represent YNCA engineering in Manufacturing events (customer visits, Internal launch readiness mtgs, etc).
- Support builds, including master sample sign-off, at manufacturing plants
- Support manufacturing initiatives such as Design for Manufacturing (DFM)

**Customer Change Control**
- Communicate to customer status of design changes (CR) requested by them.
- Request customer approval for internal and supplier initiatives.
- Provide customer responses for cost studies

**Internal Change Control**
- Interface with Cost Estimating and other internal groups for cost studies
- Create and submit in BEAMS drawing markups for design issues.
- Update BEAMS tasks for assigned wire harnesses
- Initiate engineering reworks in ARS

**Routing, Packaging, Retention, Protection and Component Selection**
- Ensure routing and packaging meet 3D model and customer requirements.
- Define customer-directed components and Select non-customer directed components to be applied to the design
- Define retention and covering components (convolute, tape, etc.) to be used on the wire harness based on customer requirements.
- Identify any new component requirement that needs to be developed.
- Define connector accessories (terminals, seals, TPAs, CPAs, etc.) to be used on the wire harness

**2D Drawing and MBOM**
- Import 3D changes and logical data
- Create auxiliary views from 3D models
- Create, maintain, and finalize 2D wire harness drawings for release
- Create, maintain and finalize MBOM for every design change.
- Ensure MBOM is released in SAP.
- Ensure design meets customer and internal requirements
- Perform verification on 2D drawing and data releases

**Continuous Improvement of the Design**
- Generate cost savings ideas and attend VAVE (_Value Analysis Value Engineering_)/DFM (_Design for Manufacturing)_ workshops.
- Trace technical issues and problems to root cause
- Support customer initiatives such as cost and warranty reduction activities, etc.

Ingles Avanzado (Comprobable en entrevista)

Carrera temrinada: Ingenieria

Conocimiento en: Autocad, Solidwork, NX

Disponibilidad de horario de L-V 8:00-5:30
