a.Responsible for thin film designs as well as designs of optical assemblies, which typically include a combinations of custom glass, polymer or acrylic materials and thin film coatings. b.Manufacturing processes for optical products that includes, flat glass, custom chemistry glass, glass fabrication, glass assemblies such as optical bonding, polarization films, polymer manufacturing, plastic molding, film manufacturing and optical thin film deposition to support Cevians Optical product portfolio

Experiência y requisitos

Requirements 3 + years of experience in sputtering coating operations Expertise in design and evaluation of optical thin film coatings is required Proficiency with thin film optical coating design software is required Understanding of pre
- and post-coating processes Experience in glass fabrication, scribing, cutting, machining and polishing Experience with polymer manufacturing, optical bonding is preferable Proven track record in working with production to meet customer specifications, expectations and on time delivery Experience in interaction with customers on technical and commercial issues or in a program management role Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with internal as well as external customers Knowledgeable in Metrology, optical measuring techniques and equipment Proven understanding of six-sigma tools including design of experiment. Strong statistical experience on Minitab or Jump Hands-on experience in designing and performing environmental testing Proven ability to multi-task with strong attention to details Experience with product development is desirable Bachelor’s or higher degree in Optics, Engineering, Physics or other related technical discipline
