**Position Summary**:
The Jr. Operations Coordinator will be working closely with our internal team members as well as suppliers & vendors. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting team members with itinerary updates and reservation tracking, destination & vendor research, reserving and booking services, and checking and processing supplier payments. A problem-solving mindset with a “can-do” attitude required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining regular contact with our suppliers.
- Quality control of services.
- Reviewing tour itineraries within the region, checking for feasibility and logistics.
- Allocating services with suppliers addressing any service-oriented issues.
- Reviewing, approving, and processing invoices.
- Managing booking requirements: keeping track of assigned group space and special requirements, tracking, and notifying any changes.
- Allocating services with suppliers assuring best balance of price and quality, in a timely manner.
- Record and track important program deadlines and milestones.

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in English with a second language preferable.
- Good knowledge of world geography and culture.
- Work experience in a field related to tourism and/or experience abroad preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work with all levels of employees.
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new software products a must.
- Strong negotiation and budget management skills.
- Ability to multi-task projects and responsibilities and strong prioritization skills.
- Ability to work in a fast pace and dynamic environment across multiple product lines
