Costing Coordinator

The Costing Coordinator will report directly to the Costing Manager and work with upper management to assist in developing and maintaining pricing model, revenue projections, and analysis. Responsible for assisting in monitoring cost accounting, bill of material audits, inventory reconciliations, and cost analysis. Works closely with purchasing and production to understand issues and how they impact the financial results as well as educate/inform department(s) on cost delivers and variances. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in cost accounting activities including standard cost development, average pricing analysis, margin and cost ratio analysis, inventory control, variance analysis, etc. Work with the purchasing and production teams to ensure bills of materials (BOM) are accurate and up to date; review and audit BOM’s to ensure they reflect the latest practices Ensure projects are executed in accordance with the company guidelines Assist in designing and preparing reports to communicate financial information to management on a monthly and quarterly basis Acts as a liaison and gatekeeper between internal departments and company sales representatives; provides relevant information necessary to carry out their responsibilities Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
