Ax Developer

**POSITION PURPOSE**: The AX Developer plays a key role in delivering effective solutions by acting as a liaison between the IT team and the rest of the Ice team to meet business requirements, support partner onboarding, and improve the system processes using the Microsoft dynamics ERP and other technologies.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Act as the primary contact for the Ice Team and domain functional expert in Dynamics AX.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Lead the Tech Op team to support different departments.
- Guide the team members to align with IT overall goals, priorities, and projects.
- Be the hero to support various emergency in different working times.
- Prepare Business Requirement documents with functional specification that describe the business needs for IT development team.
- Map technical and functional capabilities of Microsoft AX to business needs to achieve identified program benefits.
- Work effectively with IT development team to deliver IT solutions to business users and partners.
- Works as an IT Project Manager to aide on the execution of multiple joint endeavors amongst the Ice Teams.
- Develop and execute detailed project plans to ensures project timelines are met.
- Drive User Acceptance testing to validate all Functional Specifications match the original Business Requirements ensuring the quality on the deliverable.
- Generate initial training and training docs and ensure understanding of end-users.
- Propose process Improvement across IT and Operations.

**Job Requirements**
- 5+ years of experience in Dynamics AX 2012 R3 developments, including x++, SSRS and AIF.
- Familiar with Dynamics AX 2012 R3 modules, including WMS, Inventory, Sales, Purchase and etc.
- Experience in API (SOAP, REST) development
- Experience in Dynamics 365 F&SC is a big plus
- 2+ years of experience in C#, SQL development
- Possess sufficient writing and oral skills to communicate clearly with all stakeholders, supervisors, and peers.
- Strong analytic skills related to working with multiple sources of information.
- Experience in 3PL or mobility industry is a plus.
- Certification in Project management is a plus
- Good knowledge of EDI and 3rd party data exchange tools is a plus

**Education/Experience**:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent education and work experience.
