Ensure the raw material, components and supplies necessary for production.
- Keep part number parameters updated (supplier, current purchase orders, lead time, transit time, maximum, minimum, etc.)
- Keep inventory under control based on defined objectives.
- Manage parts usage, inventory, and forecasting to determine current needs.
- Comply with the individual and team indicators established by the plant.
- Maintain report of expected delivery (release) and open orders.
- Pick list analysis of each plant to validate material requirements.
- Ensure receipts of materials and invoices correctly.
- Provide the necessary documents for the import process.
- Compliance with established security policies, procedures and best practices.
- Implement and manage kan ban/pull system in the assigned manufacturing area.
- Work closely with the operations and shipping coordinator to support the day-to-day objectives of the plant.
- Work closely with SQA to assist with supplier development.
- Identify the root cause of part shortages and document corrective actions to prevent future recurrence.
- Promote the implementation of visual management systems in relation to inventory management.
- Implementation of kan ban and other ordering systems that support inventory reduction.
- Analyze and track the results of inventory audits.
- Provide timely reports and analysis.
- Study and standardize procedures to improve inventory accuracy and service levels.

Education/Experience/ Skills
- Industrial Engineer, Bachelor of Business Administration or related career.
- Computer, use of MS office and MRP.
- Knowledge of planning, supplier management and programming.
- Inventory management and control.
- Purchasing practices and monitoring.
- Technical skills in freight management.
- Spoken and written English (80% or more desirable)
- 3 years experience in similar position.
