**Summary**:VES is looking for an **Quality Inspector** to join our team in our **Matamoros,Tamaulipas** location. Plans and carries out policies related to all phases of Quality Control activity by performing the following duties.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following**. Other duties may be assigned.
- To keep quality performance records of the work areas under his/her responsibility.
- First part inspection records.
- Process inspection records.
- Critical product characteristic monitoring chart records.
- Raw material inspection records.
- Calibrator calibration status verification records.
- Product audit records.
- Records of product inspections; normal processes and special requirements, such as ER Engineering Requirements.
- Records of non-conforming material.
- Other applicable records.
- To support the production supervisor in activities related to product quality inspection and evaluation of quality systems. Implement suggestions, participate in continuous improvement teams, participate together with the production supervisor in the training of unionized personnel in:

- The interpretation of blueprints.
- Measurement techniques and use of gauging equipment.
- Techniques for filling out quality records (monitoring charts, process inspection records, cause five whys analysis, etc.).
- Maintain performance standards of their activities in the following terms: Quality, and Quantity of work (productivity), Planning, Organization, Control, Commitment to Work, Analysis and Problem Solving, Communication and Interpersonal Relations.
- Clearly and periodically report to their supervisor any incident that affects their work performance and/or could affect the safety of personnel, facilities or the quality and/or integrity of the product.

**Education and/or Experience**:

- Technical or professional career and/or experience
- 2 years of experience.
