**Position Overview: Senior Front-End Developer**
**Onsite/Hybrid**:_**Monterrey, Mexico**_

Our client is a company revolutionizing artificial flowers with high-quality, eco-friendly wooden options. They serve over 6% of US weddings and plan to build a $100 million+ integrated platform. They sell through direct-to-consumer, retail, and wholesale channels. Despite being less than four years old, they've grown rapidly with 100 employees. They seek a Senior Front-End Developer to enhance their front end and collaborate with marketing and design teams. The primary objective of this role is to drive enhancements to the eCommerce platform and elevate the overall customer experience.
- **In the first 90 days, your key responsibilities will include**:_
- Migrating the existing code base into Github and creating a deployment plan.
- Tackling stories from our marketing department, implementing UX designs, and integrating features like a cost calculator.
- Implementing a private app through Shopify that pulls specific data to a third-party system.
- Demonstrating expertise in site reliability and performance optimization, making site speed improvements, and establishing policies for future company growth. This includes reviewing and managing apps within our ecosystem.
- Pulling information from the Shopify API and pushing it into one of our databases, such as BigQuery.
- Making changes to the website, ranging from simple UI/UX tweaks to building out enhanced functionality and tools for customers.
- Hunting down and fixing the majority of bugs reported by the team, serving as the last line of defense against all issues.
- Testing releases and features using tools that simulate multiple devices.
- Monitoring and managing any apps that make changes to our code base and documenting them.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a Senior Front-End Developer.
- Ability to troubleshoot site issues and utilize various tools (commercial or open-source) to trace, analyze, and resolve problems.
- Experience in designing and tuning for page performance, with knowledge of secure development practices.
- Strong debugging skills and proficiency in managing a code repository.
- Profound knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related front-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with managing multi-member processes.
- Experience with essential e-commerce tools like Google Analytics and Optimize.
- Experience with DTC industry.
- Knowledge of Shopify and other eCommerce platforms is a plus but not necessary.
- Understanding of best practices for e-commerce conversion rate optimization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Pay: $1,000,000.00 - $1,300,000.00 per year
