In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Your Role and Responsibilities
Are you an AWS geek looking the right place to deepen your cloud skills in a team environment? If you want to share your AWS expertise while increasing knowledge from a multicultural cloud environments, then come and join our team.
As a senior AWS engineer, you will use your cloud skills to succeed on the following cloud challenges:
- Improve cloud operations by using your scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, ansible, Powershell, etc.) and your solid understanding of Kubernetes, Microservices architecture, developing DevOps pipelines.
- Share you solid expertise in configuration management and automation (Terraform, DSC, Ansible, etc.) to improve customer experience.
To perform as described above, you will use your previous Linux and Windows SysAdmin experience On Prem and Virtual environments (Vmware, Citrix) as well as your solid experience implementing pipelines for CI/CD, based on
principles of DevOps in any of the DevOps platforms AWS.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Hands on experience with implementation of core AWS products (e.g., AWS Kubernetes, VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, ELB/ALB, IAM, Lambda, SQS, EBS, Cloud Functions, VPC, Networking, VPN’s)
- scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, ansible, Powershell, etc.) and solid understanding of Kubernetes and Microservices architecture.
- On hands experience with configuration management and automation (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
- Previous experience with Linux or Windows SysAdmin as well On Prem and Virtual environments (Vmware, Citrix). Solid experience implementing pipelines for CI/CD, based on principles of DevOps in any of the DevOps platforms on AWS.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- AWS Certification at professional level or equivalent experience.
