Team Overview:
Pricing Center of Excellence is a team within the Central Operations area, which is responsible for achiving growth efficiently, with pricing being a key pillar. As Lead of Pricing CoE, you will be responsible for ensuring we protect our value propisition for passengers and drivers, as well as optimizing prices across different dimensions (areas, time, trip distance, etc.) to maximize core metrics and deliver a great experience for our users.

The team’s regional scope gives it a unique exposure to a wide range of areas and marketplace conditions across all of Spanish Speaking Latam. This person will lead the development of pricing frameworks, tools and playbooks, shaping the decision making processes related to pricing.

There is a high degree of collaboration in this role: you will work closely with the operations teams, as well as with HQ with the algorithm teams, to create, guide and execute impactful strategies. This role is ideal for someone looking to have a great impact on the business strategy, work in a fast-paced & data driven environment, manage a team and gain exposure to a full suite of projects and functions.

Role Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the long-term business strategy & value proposition using internal, external, qualitative and quantitative data sources with a strategic, data-driven and user-centric approach
- Manage cross-functional projects & stakeholders to make sure every area is aligned with our strategic and tactical guidelines while contributing towards the same goal
- Own pricing playbooks, frameworks models and tools in SSL, helping define the long-term pricing strategy and optimizing short-term levers with a data-driven approach
- Contribute to the development of pricing frameworks by testing new initiatives, iterating on existing ones, sharing best practices and working closely with your peers from different areas and seniority levels
- Oversee the execution of pricing strategies and initiatives coordinating with all relevant functions
- Contribute to improve existing & create new processes across SSL
- Collaborate with algorithm team from HQ on the development and improvement of smart-pricing tools, such as surge
- Contribute to talent development

Role Qualifications:

- Fast mover: You have demonstrated success in high-performance environments (e.g. experience in startups, finance, or management consulting)
- 5+ years of previous professional experience in strategic, analytical, operational, and/or product roles.
- Fluent in English and Spanish
