**QA Automation**

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

English & Spanish (Medium-high)

**Main Technology**:
QA testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and containerized environments

**Deep Expertise in**:

- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Linux-based systems and containerized environments.
- Strong proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Experience with one or more automation frameworks/tools such as Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our Federated Data Sharing Appliance.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing, deployment, and monitoring of software releases in containerized environments.
- Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, create test plans, and execute test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Quality Assurance Processes: Establish and enforce QA best practices, standards, and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using issue tracking systems, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance and scalability testing to assess the system's behavior under various loads and optimize performance.
- Security Testing: Perform security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential security risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including test plans, test cases, test reports, and automation scripts, to support QA processes and facilitate knowledge sharing.
