Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

**We're looking for a senior Supplier Quality Engineer (32-40 hours/week), to support our fast-growing company in the world of quality engineering.**:

**Your Role**:
In the role as Senior SQE, you should be able to release all your energy and use your soft-skills and hard skills, from influencing without power till execution of tasks. The SQE is the bridge between the development (NPI) team and the n-tier supplier. Therefore you are the contact person for the supplier and make sure that the supply-chain is getting prepared for production. You work closely together with the development team during the design process and ensure that the developed parts can actually be delivered at the expected quality and efficiency level. This responsibility continues until the parts are ready for volume production and the purchasing department only has to worry about purchasing the parts. We at Etteplan Engineering Solutions are creating a team to support our clients and our internal organization in the field of SQE, a field which is often underestimated. And yes, this means we will explore uncharted territories and that we will have to be persistent to get it off the ground.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the manufacturability aspects for outsourced parts.
- Negotiate and record supplier agreements.
- Resolve quality issues and risk analysis.
- Delivery of essential NPI documents.
- Contribute in benchmarking and selection of new suppliers.
- Facilitate close collaboration between suppliers and the NPI team.
- Report on progress and performance to stakeholders.
- Knowledge development and sharing within the team.

**Your Profile**:

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics.
- Minimum of 6 years of proven professional experience in Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering/ Development.
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Interfaces with engineering and industrialization in projects.
- Willing to work onsite at customers and contribute to Etteplan projects
