**Job Summary**:
The Region CFO supports the financial requirements of the region, while taking direction from the Global CFO. Works closely with the General Manager, Region HR Director, and senior members of FieldCore to support growth, drive financial operating excellence, and manage highly complex functional issues. Has overall control and responsibility including strategy and execution for the financial aspects of the region. The position has direct and indirect people management responsibility for teams within the region and supporting COE’s to lead team through month end, year-end, and annual budgeting activities.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide overall leadership for regional finance staff
- Direct ownership and accountability for financial operations or the region
- Provide leadership, support and finance guidance to the region leadership teams to assure standards or programs are effectively followed that meet operating budgets, margin metrics, or other financial stewardship goals
- Lead the development, implementation and measurement of operating plan and participate in successful execution (Lead SII and Op Plan)
- Work with senior teams to grow the businesses formulating strategies and plans, direct business partner support of two Region General Managers
- Drive financial performance improvement initiatives throughout the regions (cost reduction, capital efficiency, productivity, etc.)
- Recommend and influence needed actions to maximize op margins, costs, etc.
- Provide business performance analytics to identify financial trends, highlight risk and opportunities and ensure operational coordination
- Lead and manage the budgeting/estimating process for the region
- Manage compliance activities related to Statutory Audits and filings, and account reconciliations
- Formulate annual budgets and targets for the region
- Provide analysis and recommendations on capital expenditures, restructuring, and items of financial significance within the region
- Manage overall control of financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit systems
- Ensure weekly and monthly updates are prepared and submitted by region team
- Review accounts and investigation of variances then setting recovery plans
- Manage treasury matters of the region
- Evaluate and prepare capital expenditure submissions
- Conduct risk management of financial matters
- Set annual cost rates and prices for customers
- Maintain close involvement in commercial negotiations with customers
- Ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met
- Ensure financial matters are in accordance with legislation and ethical accounting practices
- Connects globally and across business networks to align stakeholders
- Identifies the need for and drives organizational change
- Advise the GM’s, CFO and executives on financial strategy
- Participate in financial, human resources and strategic planning
- Travel may be required
- May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 12+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
- 7+ years managing and developing multi-discipline teams, preferably with international reach across multiple service types
- 6+ years of specialized/industry experience
- Demonstrated business acumen
- English proficiency required

**Desired Characteristics**:

- Master’s degree preferred
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and best practice, computer software for accounting, financial statements and their preparation, payroll reporting and systems
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, teambuilding, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability
- Computer proficient, including specialized software
- Exceptional analytical, financial, commercial and communication skills
- Capable of providing sound, practical advice in response to complex and rapidly changing conditions
- Able to make a positive contribution to a very collegial working environment
- Able to work in a self-sufficient manner under the overall authority of the CFO and Region General Managers
- Ability to handle multiple, competing projects concurrently with a results-oriented focus
